Profile of IDER Committee Member - Tony Moore, Co-Chair of the Institute of Civil Protection and Emergency Management
A former senior police officer with the London Metropolitan Police, Tony Moore is currently the Associate Director of The Resilience Centre at that part of Cranfield University based at Shrivenham in the United Kingdom Defence Academy. Tony specialises in the management of crises and has a particular interest in leadership and decision-making in stressful situations. He currently leads the FCO’s Counter Terrorism Crisis Management programme in targeted countries overseas. He is Chairman of the Institute of Civil Defence and Disaster Studies and the co-editor of Tolley’s Handbook of Disaster and Emergency Management: Principles and Practice.
